I need to process PDF files with different apps frequently. I need to open PDF's off one part of a site in one program and download the PDF's off another part of the site to a specific directory. I need to do this several hundred times a day and so any kind of manual switching is impractical, every click counts, and so I dont want any extras. My current solution is to use Chrome for downloading and Firefox for opening the pdf in a program. I don't like chrome nor do I trust google, I would prefer to only use Firefox. I also already use the inlineDisposition 2 add-on so firefox can correctly identify the files as pdf's. Is there a plugin that can help me accomplish this?

See if this extension will do what you need: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/save-file-to/

Don't use it myself, but it's the closest that I can think of seeing at the add-ons website.
