A work related folder in My Local folders on the LHS pane of Thunderbird has disappeared. I cant find it. In a "search" it shows up on LHS in a list with other folders in the "Local". I can not open any folder shown in this LHS pane on the search page. It has my work emails in this folder. I don't know why the folder disappeared, it was there the other day but has now gone. THa now blue background LHS pane lists Filters

he issue you actually open an email that search returns from that folder.
The folder no longer shows up. its lost or hiden It has totally disappeared I can not find emails that are in it the folder as I dont know all the names of files that are in there if I use the search function to find an email then there is a greyed out or rather blued out LHS pane on the window/page that opens. it is just a list of folders that has existed. there is no functionality in the LHS "blued out" pane you can not open any thing that shows there. I can't copy the screen and post it as email info is confidential.
I have this problem, too. Nothing I read above helps at all.
The problem I have recapped, started when an important folder disappeared from view. I can't see the folder and consequently can't access it but when I search for messages I know are in the folder, they show up and I can access those messages. Truly a bizarre problem and noting I've looked at really explains how this could happen.
