how do I make a new tab open a specific page? like www.google.com
when I open a new tab, I want the page https://www.google.com to load. nothing else. how do I make this happen? and why isn't setting a specific page an option?

You could set google.com to be your home page, and instead of clicking the '+' to open a new tab, click on the home icon instead .....
