I continually have a yellow bar across the top of the page when I open Facebook on Firefox.

It says "A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do?" then there are 2 buttons and a X next to that question.

My request is for Firefox to tell me it is Facebook causing the problem and how to get rid of it.

As it only happens when I use Facebook then I can presume that is the problem page. BUT what I want is to stop it from happening. I am not a Tech person so any assistance will have to be very simple

If the problem is a script, there could be several reasons for the problem.
