I'm not sure of what rules Thunderbird is using to decide how to display the sender in my main Inbox page. Mostly it just shows the Senders name if one has been specified (rather then the full email address).

However this means that I get some less than useful entries... For example today I received an email from "customer@anybusiness.com" and the Thunderbird display is just showing "customer", making it very hard to find the email later when I'm looking for the business name.

However, there is SOME algorithm being used, as other similar addresses such as "info@argos.co.uk" is being shown as the complete email address.

I have tried ensuring that "customer@anybusiness.com" is in my contacts, and I have tried manually adding a display name AND a first & second name to the contact, but none of this is having any effect (and I shoudnt need to do this manually anyway).

Is there anything I can change in options or config to address this issue? What I'd really like to see is a display toggle button to show full email addresses in that column.
