When using Firefox 10.0 (problem also occurred in 9.0) in a secondary monitor, all menus (i.e., dropdown lists) flash and the items in the list appear for seconds making it very difficult to select an option when viewing browser menu's or options when I right click on a Web page. It's as if the menu appears and goes away repeatedly until an option is selected/menu is de-selected. Everything works fine when viewed in the primary monitor view (laptop - Dell M6500)

This *might* be caused by Hardware Acceleration.

Try this: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

Thanks. No updates were available and since I posted this, it seems to happen when I have Chrome also open. There's still some other issue that's causing this because when I first fired up my laptop and opened Firefox, dragged to second monitor and viewed menus it looked fine. Then opened Chrome and went back to Firefox and still no issue. Yet later that day I worked in Firefox and the menus were flickering again and couldn't navigate to any menu item easily. Very strange.
