This never used to happen to me and I hope you all can help. I often have several tabs open at once in my browser. Sometimes I accidentally drag one of them. When this happens it pulls it off of my browser and opens it in a new browser of its own. Is there a way to turn this off? If not is there a way to drag it back to the original browser? It keeps happening to me and it is very annoying. I have a touch screen and am now afraid to touch it because any time I get near the top of my browser it moves one of my tabs to a new browser.

Thanks

I don't know of a way to disable this issue, however when it happens click on the restore down button.( that is the squares between the - and the x at the top right corner) Then move the whole window down and drag the page back to your original tab window.

You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo this detaching.

I have the same situation, and in addition, when I drag my tab to the add-on bar (where I have my bookmarks) the cursor location MUST be separate from the site name to successfully bookmark it. It's very easy to miss the right spot, especially when you have multiple tabs open.

One consequence of messing it up is that the screen if maximized will resstore down only a few millimeters regardless of the previous sizing.
