My browser is constantly being hijacked with this: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?
I have tried many solutions, per Google on the Internet. But nothing works and often, when I try to access a website I get this: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?
For instance, in trying to get to a New Yorker page about Coding, I will click on my link, the page will appear for a moment, and then it goes to this: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?hspart=gt&hsimp=yhse-gt&q=www.newyorker.com%2Fimages%2Fonline%2Fblogart%2Fgary-marcus-and-ernest-d&type=576859
This happens daily and for seemingly no reason and consistently with the same links. I have tried the "about:config" and cannot change or remove anything having to do with yahoo . . . I am also having 404 error pages cropping up where they shouldn't. With those 404 errors I click on the back arrow and reach the page I need.
I have tried delete and fresh re-installs for Firefox. Resetting the home page. Whatever other solutions I can find, such as Mac rogue remover and ccleaner for mac.
Isn't there a real solution out there?

This problem occurs when clicking links in Google search results? That's definitely strange.
Could you try the solution in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/995599

Sorry . . those were links in my email.
I tried Shift + A + command and it took me to about:addons where I found an Extensions page with a bunch of extensions I had never added. I removed those and it seems to have solved the problem.
Thank you!
