How do I restore emails accidentally deleted using account settings/disk space/delete messages more than...?
I accidentally deleted all emails on my computer more than 30 days old by selecting Account Settings/Disk Space/Delete Messages... I thought I was clearing my server, but it deleted everything older than 30 days on my computer. I know there are always hidden or backup files somewhere. Is there a way to restore my emails from earlier today? I have not turned off my computer, but I exited Thunderbird and my trash is empty.

There are none unless you created a backup of your profile folder. Did you? If not, why not?
How do I create a backup of my profile folder? I've archived email, but don't know how to get those. When I go to AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/ Profiles/8argbyz3.default/mail/pop.acprint.com, I see all my email folders with an earlier time than now. Are these relevant? There are so many folders and files (ImapMail, Mail, minidumps...) don't one of them have old emails? Many, many years ago I worked in DOS and files weren't deleted, just the 1st letter was changed so you couldn't find them. They remained until something took their place and often we could recover them. Aren't these files somewhere in that space?
Is this the account we're talking about?
If so, you can try to login to your account via webmail, and check whether messages are still on the server.
