How do I get my Bookmarks menu to display after clicking on the "show bookmarks" icon next to the search box in Firefox, after using Macclean?
I cleaned what I thought were some unnecessary files using Macclean. The next time I opened the Firefox browser and clicked on the "show your bookmarks" icon (i.e., Firefox 3 bar icon ?) near the search box, my bookmarks did not show up. When I click the "show all bookmarks" the Bookmarks Library window opens. Under "All Bookmarks", then "Bookmarks Menu", my bookmarks appear. When I click "View Bookmarks Sidebar" my bookmarks appear under the "Bookmarks Menu." Is there any way to get the Bookmarks menu into the Bookmarks toolbar so that my bookmarks appear in the dropdown when I click the 3 Bar icon? I would rather access them that way than having to open the Bookmarks sidebar or Bookmarks library window.

Keeping backup of your data you can uninstall the browser and download and install the latest version of firefox
for backup follow this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
Why do I need to uninstall and reinstall Firefox? Are you saying it is not working properly, that is why the bookmarks are not showing up when I click the Firefox 3 bar icon?
