Firefox crashes

Since upgrading to latest version FF crashed 5-10x a day during routine browsing. The easiest way to get it to crash is to view a Youtube video though that's far from the only way to make it happen.
I've refreshed firefox as well as tried safemode to no avail. Short of uninstalling and trying to find an older version could sure use some help.

In the latest version of Firefox I have also had this issue using Windows 10.
I have been able to resolve the issue by running Firefox in compatibility mode for Windows 8 (even though we are using Windows 10).
1) Right click on your Firefox link or Firefox.exe executable. 2) Select Properties 3) Select the Compatibility Tab 4) Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" 5) Make sure Windows 8 is selected in the drop down menu
Alternatively, if you want to try downgrading to version 54, it seems some users have reported not having this issue in that version.
Read this web page if you would like to go that route: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-older-version-of-firefox?cache=no
Hopefully it will get patched soon. My guess is it is related the Creator update or some update since then.
