Thunderbird flase update notice 102.3.1 64bit
I get a popup every day (or more often?) to upgrade Thunderbird. It has the latest version and when I check help>about it says I have the latest version. Plus I have installed that same latest version two times and run a registry defragger/cleaner. As a note I am on automatic upgrade, which usually works.
I did manual downloads and upgrades.
I don't want to uninstall and start over for fear of losing years of archived email.
How do I tell Thunderbird it's updated and stop the alerts? Update history says I'm somewhere in version 91, but the same pages tells me, I'm up to date?

That's supposed to be FALSE notice. DOH!
I get this too. For me this has been happening on my x64 Windows 10 Pro since July or August 2022. Has TB lost the ability to update itself in the background or at startup like Firefox does? Just now I received another notification about it being unable to update. See the attached file for a screen shot. My settings haven't changed for more than a year so automatic updates are enabled. Another post said to turn off the background option, which I did yesterday, to no effect. I know MS is deprecating some unsecure versions of TLS, is that related?
