Every time I start firefox (4.0.1) it has reverted to "Manual proxy configuration" and I have to change it to No Proxy to connect to internet, next restart and it's back to manual proxy.
No matter what I change the proxy settings to everytime firefox is started it's gone back to manual proxy configuration and has to be changed to no proxy for me to access the net. OS is XP pro

Thanks edmeister. It was the prefs.js file. A reset in Firefox Safe Mode sorted it.
