Through Help, I restarted Firefox with add-ons disabled, then hit the reset Firefox to start a fresh version. I realized I did not want this option, and would like my old Firefox version back again. Before the fresh Firefox version started, a folder labeled "Old Firefox Data" was placed on my desktop. Is there any way I can use this data to get my old Firefox version back again?

I recently posted a long description of how I would approach that. I haven't actually tested it. Could you take a look and see whether it helps: I just reset Firefox, are my add ons in the "old Firefox data" folder and how do I find them?

It is best not to restore the full Firefox profile folder because Firefox makes changes to some files (compatibility.ini gets an InvalidateCaches=1 entry)
