since updating to 29.0.1 i can not just click on a tab and have it change to that tab. i have to go to the right side of the browser and click on a drop down menu. i don't want to have to do this but i don't know how to unistall the upgrade. firefox doesn't tell you what will not work after the upgrade. also the update message keeps coming up and there should be a way to stop it from coming up. firefox has way too many updates that stop thing that i like about firefox. i may stop using it.

hello, this is certainly not normal - can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...
