Three weeks ago, Thunderbird stopped working with Earthlink. No email could be received by T-bird.

I thought that someone had changed my MX (mail server) entries in my DNS records. ELN's chat person suggested changing the type A (name server) entries to earthlink.net This allowed my email to work fine, but blocked my website (thnc.org) -- monitored by Network Solutions, web hosting by Earthlink. Now, MX are set to carrierzone.com (Earthlink's) and Type A are set to stabletransit.com -- Access to website is fine, but I still cannot get email to come through T-bird. Email are being received on Earthlink's Webmail. Any suggestions?

Have a look here Your domains has some serious issues, but perhaps the most serious is the fact DNS resolution will be slow due to name server configuration.

But I have no idea what any of that or what your have said really has to do with email deliverability within the earthlink network.
