How can I re-order the email address list displayed when I click "Get Messages", so that the most commonly used ones appear at the top of the list please?

1, In Thunderbird, clicking the "Get Messages" shows a dropdown of all the email accounts in the order they were loaded. The two I use most commonly are at the top and penultimate of this list on this machine. Is it possible to re-arrange the email accounts on this dropdown so that the two most commonly checked ones are at the top please (without deleting and re-loading the accounts)?

2, Thunderbird seems to default to the next email on the list when forwarding. Is it possible to switch off this default and have Thunderbird ask which originating email address to use? Because unless you remember to check, it is possible to mistakenly use an originating address which is no longer used, but is kept on the system for surveillance of historic contacts.
