setting up on new computer, cannot find way to "bookmarks bar" across top
On previous, I have bar below address bar where I can create folders of bookmarks of frequently used websites, go with single click. I cannot find way to get this bar now. New to me refurbished Dell Lattitude running Windows 7 Pro

please try to go into the customization panel again and restore the layout to the default - afterwards enable the bookmarks toolbar, exit the customization mode and see if it is working correctly afterwards...

hi jwarner522, please refer to Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window
that's what I tried previously...after reading, I insured I clicked green exit customize button - still no bar! Altogether, tried 5 + times to no avail
To clarify, it appears that the bar itself is there; however, I cannot drag & drop url, nor can IO right click and create folder as before. bar appears, but is non-functional

Note that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" needs to be placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Make sure toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
- "3-bar" menu button -> Customize -> Show/Hide Toolbars
- View -> Toolbars
You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar - Right-click empty toolbar area
Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
- "3-bar" menu button -> Customize
- check that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize palette to the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
- if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window to the toolbar
- if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the Restore Defaults button in the Customize palette window to restore the default toolbar set.
