Firefox homepage suddenly looks different. Top sites have been changed to thumbnails etc...the whole appearance is different.
This is on Android beta. I can't figure out why the appearance has suddenly changed. If it was an update, I can't find any info on it. I liked the way it looked. Top sites are now thumbnails, there are photos with the "recently visited"...

Play store apps update themselves, so you didn't have to do anything to bump up from Firefox 56 to Firefox 57.
The new icons are too small, you can't easily read enough of the title or URL to distinguish similar pages. Hopefully they are getting that feedback.

Firefox for Android Beta appears to have rolled over to Firefox 57. There are a lot of changes in Firefox 57; you've probably only just begun finding them.

I loaded the Beta to take a look. To modify the Top Sites page, go to:
menu > Settings > General > Home > Top Sites
Here you can turn off "Recommended by Pocket" if you're not interested. Not sure if the other settings are useful for you.
Thanks for the response but I already tried that. I have attached two photos. The one with the large "top sites" icons is how my phone looked 3 hours ago. The other is how it looks now. I haven't touched anything to cause it as far as I know. I just went to make a call, and there it was.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. I'll be giving Mozilla some feedback.

I have a similar issue, with the current Firefox for android (version 57.0, as of November 14 2017 or so).
I'd like to be able to change the number of rows like you can do with Firefox on the desktop, as well as change the icon size.
Where did you post feedback?
