how do i change my default browser from Firefox in Windows 7?
Firefox recently updated and now, In the General page of the Options menu, there is no alternative but Firefox as a default browser. There is a box to click for Firefox, that cannot be unclicked. There are no other options. I don't see how you can claim that Firefox is customizable if the options are no longer there.

Hello, if you wish to set another browser as default you will have to do this from that browser. Thank you.
I tried that but Firefox would not allow me to select Start Page as my default browser. It is only allowing me to select it as my home page. When I open a new tab, the browser is Firefox, not Start Page
Do you mean search engine? Go to about:preferences by typing it in your URL bar -- then click on the Search tab and select Startpage as your default search engine. To set startpage as your homepage, go to about:preferences and in the where it says Homepage - Mozilla Firefox Start Page type the URL of startpage to set it as your homepage.
I have Start Page as Search Engine and Home Page. What I do not have is Start Page as my default page when I click on a new tab. It is the Firefox page. I did not have this trouble before the update. I would like the same "Home Page" for every tab I open. Please help.
