Hello, so I've tried literally everything I could find on youtube, on this support website and other forums and nothing worked.

Basically, every social site I try to go on such as facebook, twitter, reddit, gmail and youtube gives me the "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER" error code saying my connection is not secure. I've tried the following: -I've tried starting firefox in safe mode. -I've tried changing my proxy settings to auto. -I've tried changing the security.ssl3...128 and the ...256 to false. -I've tried deleting both cert8.db and cert9.db, and also deleting individually to see if it would matter.

My clock time on my computer is correct as well, and I have no third-party antivirus software, only Windows Defender.

Hi, crazy enough, please give this a try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
