Outgoing emails get rejected, allegedly by the server.
All of a sudden outgoing email gets the message, "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded (the recipient's email address) recipient rejected." Then it's suggested I check the email address and try sending it again. I'm using Win 10 on a PC and of course Thunderbird. Absolutely nothing has changed on my end.

usually caused by a blank (hit the space bar) before the address or after it. But there are many ways to malform an address and have the server reject it. Try clicking reply to an email you have received and see if you have the same issues. or typing in full. If you can get it to work on one of those methods you are on the way to identifying where the problem lies.

It was an incorrect email address, not a general problem.
