Some saved passwords are not prefilled since update to 79.0
Hello,
Since the update to the new Firefox for Android (79.0), some of my saves usernames and corresponding passwords are not prefilled anymore. Some others are. The credentials are all still there - I can see and review them in the Settings -> Logins and passwords -> Saved logins.
Some credentials are for HTTP basic authentication (2x), some are for simple login forms (2x). From the basic authentications, both are *not* prefilled. From the regular HTML forms, one is and one is not.
Is this a know bug? If so, how can I help to diagnose the problem? If not, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance, Frans-Willem

Hello again,
I have been investigating this further, but haven't found a solution. Some more info:
- Using Firefox 79.0.5, Android 9 on two devices with three user accounts. - Tried several times, both with and without being logged into Firefox Sync. - Cleared all saved passwords and refused-sites in the Google-settings. - Cleared the app cache, as well as all user settings from the Firefox app.
Remarkable: I almost never get a "Save this password?" prompt from Firefox.
- Removed the site (and username with password) from Firefox' saved login list. The prompt to re-save it upon next login is never displayed.
What can I do to have my saved logins actually prefilled in login forms?
Thanks, Frans-Willem

The problem only affects pages with HTTP authentication, e.g. with .htaccess
I only have that with Firefox 79 for Android. At the moment I have to use Chrome as a substitute on my mobile. Very sad...
I have this problem, too. I've been running mobile Firefox on this device for several years and it has always worked flawlessly until the latest version (with the changed toolbar location and black theme).
As of the current update (v80.1.3) login name and passwords are still not offered in the login boxes, forcing me to manually look them up under > Settings > Logins and password > then copy the password, type in my login name and paste the pw into the field. It's seriously annoying and I wish I could downgrade to the previous Firefox.
