Hey Firefox Team,

Earlier this evening, I was doing a little security update and changing the password to my Twitter and email addresses. Standard stuff. Firefox suggested a secure password and I agreed; Firefox came up with a good one. The key icon in the URL bar showed a little message that said it had saved the passwords. Hooray.

It turns out, it didn't update my passwords at all and now I am locked out of my accounts. Firefox hasn't saved these new passwords it came up with and I'm stuck with my old ones which, obviously, don't work.

What can I do?

^The OP didn't wrote that the password for the Firefox account was changed, only Twitter was specifically mentioned. Note that it is always best to verify via about:logins that a password is stored correctly, especially in case of a generated password.

You will have to do a password reset if you are blocked from accessing a website.
