Hi, Thunderbird automatically updated to version 102 on Windows 11 and now nothing works at all. No access to inbox, so no emails showing. No access to Local Folders, in fact no Folders listed at all. Everything is blank except for the menus! Can I just undo the update? If so, how do I stop it updating again please?

I did install the suggested https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/candidates/102.3.0-candidates/build1/win64/en-US/Thunderbird%20Setup%20102.3.0.exe and that did seem to fix the issue for me.

Personally, I would prefer for not fixing that which is not broken, that is, not rewriting code for the sake of rewriting it and trying to be trendy. It's not the first time a Thunderbird update wreaks havoc in my mailbox, and I'm afraid that it won't be the last.

Thanks for your suggestion, but after the upgrade rendered my profile useless for earlier versions and the amount of time it took to get an operational earlier version I decided to turn off automatic updates and stay on the older version. I did first try a clean install of 102, but again I had nothing, no email in or out, no contacts, no local folders and no calendars. In short, an empty installation with a broken profile. I'll leave it a while and when I feel brave enough I'll try again.
