Hi, I was wondering why when checking spelling as you type Thunderbird does not suggest spellings from personal dictionary? I right click on the mispelt word and it does not make any suggestions from my personal dictionary.

Here is an example:

I type "Kmiber" or even "Kimbre" instead of "Kimber" and then right click it does not suggest "Kimber" that is in the personal dictionary. This happens with other mispellings on words in the personal dictionary.

Expected behaviour - suggests "Kimber" (or other word from personal dictionary) that closely resembles misplet word

Actual behavious - suggests standard words from standard dictionary

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Nope your doing nothing wrong. It just does not look at the personal dictionary for suggestions.

Hi Matt,

Many thanks for the update! I am surprised at that, is this something in the pipeline? I will post a suggestion in the link you noted regarding this.
