Firefox is not importing passwords
Hello,
When I'm trying to import passwords from other browsers (Safari or Brave) or CSV files generated by Safari and Brave nothing happens. There's not even an option to import the passwords from Safari, look at the attached screenshot. From Brave however the option is available, but even if I check that box nothing happens when I do the import. Do you know why? I've tried it on both Windows and macOS.

Importing logins is broken. A bug report was filed 3 months ago. To enable it to work, you need to change a preference in about:config to true (and change it back once you have imported). security.allow_eval_in_parent_process
You also need to change this preference to true. signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled

Thank you for the quick answer, Terry.
Sorry, I forgot to add that I've already done this. It still doesn't work, not on Mac or Windows.

The CSV file from Brave may not be compatible with Firefox.
If there are problems with importing the CSV file then use "Create New Login" in the Password Manager and export the logins to a CSV file to get an example of the format of the CSV file.
In case of issues with importing the CSV file, check the header line and make sure you have at least the "url" and "username" and "password" fields as those are mandatory.
