Purchased new iMac and need to access old email files... set up or access exsisting account.

Purchased new computer. Need to open old emails and check new ones. How do I do that ? l've installed latest version of Firefox. Do I need to load something else... Thunderbird? I did a Time Machine Back up before installing new computer on external drive.

Is phone assistance available or chat box?

Impatience is not a virtue. There is no need to post a question twice. Assuming you used Thunderbird on old machine, then you need Thunderbird on new machine. Once you start thunderbird, click the Home tab and then click the Import button. One option shown will be to import from another machine. CLick that. I am not familiar with Macs, but on Windows, the profile would have been stored at c:\users\userid\appdata\roaming\thunderbird\profiles. I assume you are familiar with the appropriate location on Macs and that should be available on your backup. and someone familiar with Macs may be able to be more precise. If the profile is complete, thunderbird should immediately make the email messages accessible.
