After a recent reinstall Firefox seems to have a problem. This seems to be only Firefox specific and I can't find a working solution online after googling.

Youtube videos work, although they do give errors sometimes. A refresh always fixes those. However Twitch/Youtube live streams do not, and display a generic error message. When trying other browsers the live streams work fine.

And old Bugzilla post (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1467495) describes what I believe to be a possible reason for the problem, however following the solutions in that thread have not yet lead to a solution.

Any further insight or solutions would be appreciated.

Then you need to contact the site where your getting that "Media Feature Pack" for support on their software.

So you want the OP to contact Microsoft for support since that is where you get it from as you can see by this article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows

I am aware of needing a Media Feature Pack, which is installed.

You have a N or KN edition of Windows? and if so, you installed based on Windows support articles like Media Feature Pack for Windows N

I have worked and looked through all the above articles. I am aware of needing a Media Feature Pack, which is installed. Other browsers are using this to stream, however, Firefox seems unable to.
