I can't figure out why Firefox Focus for Android is opening Amazon links by default. It isn't set as the default browser, as far as I can tell it doesn't have anything set to open by default. Usually I have the option to choose which browser to open a link with because I have multiple browsers installed.

I'm using a Galaxy s22 Ultra running Android 13. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I figured it out. There is a separate section in the settings that says "Apps that can open links". I thought I reset all of that but the option was still enabled for Firefox Focus.

Hi Erica

Where are you opening the links in for them to appear in Firefox Focus for Android?

It has been very random. For example, if I open a link from an email in the Outlook app, one time it'll open in Focus, and later opening the same link from the same email later might open the app chooser. It does the same thing with ads in games, whereas before an ad would trigger the browser/app chooser every time.

It's not set as a default browser or webview. I cleared the app's data, I reset all default apps in the phone settings, I cleared the cache in system recovery. It's not bothering me too much since Focus makes it easy to open a link in an external app, but it is puzzling.
