Firefox not responding and not playing videos in websites.
Firefox keeps not responding at random times, and will not play videos in websites (YouTube, Amazon, News stations). Webroot says Firefox has a memory leak. Could this be the cause? Could my firewall be blocking it? I update my browser constantly hoping to fix it. I usually end up switching to Chrome to watch videos.

Smells like Webroot to me. Disable it, reboot and try again. Also try Firefox in Safe Mode. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-4troubleshoot-modesf5safe-modesf

If you're running Windows Pro version, I would test in the Sandbox to confirm. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/
I am running the home version.
Roger that... Did you disable webroot, reboot, and try again?
I downloaded a completely new Webroot app! Same issues. Firefox stops responding for no apparent reason. Videos will not play and I am forced to open Chrome. The "memory leak" warning seems to have gone away. Very frustrating!
Does it still happen when Webroot is disabled? Sometimes you might need to go one step further and uninstall security software to stop it from interfering.
Are you saying I may need to choose between Webroot and Firefox?
