I cannot open my earthlink email on the internet (the email downloads fine) with Firefox. It opens OK on IE.

Each time i try it says

    "The page isn't redirecting properly

" Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

I went through all the help pages and deleted my history except for cookies, but when I try to delete cookies I can't get the computer to do that. Using Firefox, I can get to my Account in earthlink, but can't get from there to webmail.

There is NO problem getting there with Internet Explorer, but I have Web Mail my home page on Firefox.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
