How do I enable Firefox's drop down menu?
I just got an imac 10.8 firefox 25 and I am trying to configure firefox the same as my macbook pro 10.6. firefox 24 On my MBP I have if I hold onto a link a drop down menu will appear that says open link in new window, open link in new tab, bookmark etc. I am trying to get firefox to do the same thing on my imac but it won't, when I hold down a link it only highlights it or moves it, no drop down menu appears. I tried to find the option in about config but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know how to enable this?

If I understand right, you want to enable "click and hold" access to the context menu. To do so:
- In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
- Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.
- Search for the preference ui.click_hold_context_menus
- Double-click on that preference to toggle its value to true

Hi cleverwabbit I would recommend updating the Firefox on the imac to version 25.01. If there are any add ons that are on the MBP that are not on the imac, you can install these too.
New stuff is always fun to get, I hope the experience on both machines are rewarding. The next time you set up a new device you can also sync them with Firefox Sync. Here is more information if you are curious about it: How do I set up Sync on my computer?
