Try to watch videos. Plays for few seconds, stops. Move cursor plays more.
Using Windows XP and Firefox 33.0. As long as I keep moving the cursor or keep typing, it runs OK. (As I type this, I currently have a video running in background.) When stop moving cursor or typing, video stops immediately but audio keeps going for about 10-12 seconds. When again providing input to PC (cursor or typing) time jumps forward 10-12 seconds and begins playing properly again until I stop input. I don't know format of malfunctioning videos.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
You can distinguish Flash videos from HTML5 player videos using a right-click on the player (the Flash player has a distinctive menu different from an ordinary right-click menu).
Several users reported having to move the mouse after the release of Firefox 32, but I don't think a specific culprit was identified. In some cases, scanning for and removing malware or unknown add-ons solved the problem. But I think you might have to do a little exploring/experimenting to see what works for you.
Plugins
Disable nonessential plugins; maybe disable everything except Shockwave Flash to start. You can open the Add-ons page using either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Then you can adjust the permissions setting to "Never Activate" for most plugins.
Extensions
In the left column, click Extensions. Actually, yours appear to be disabled already, or maybe you generated the list in Firefox's Safe Mode.
You may need to exit Firefox and start it up again before these changes take effect.
