How to fix lag and the blank white screen with the loading circle on page

Ever since the update to Firefox 60 and at least the last iteration the program locks up or lags excessively and never had that issue before. All the settings are set to my recommended specs as well. Many times Facebook will also lag, or sometimes flash white, I run into this issue in Safemode as well so I know it is not my extensions. Ocassionally when switching between open tabs the page will be blank with a loading icon in the center that spins for at least 5 seconds before the page attempts to show, even while writing this the program was lagging behind.

hi, we've received a couple of similar reports by other users of the "Honey 10.7.2a" extension and looking into the issue. you might want to keep that addon disabled for the moment.

It seems like that definitely helps. I had also updated to beta ver. 61.0b4 64 Bit and that also seems to help some when paired with Honey disabled. It is unfortunate having to disable a useful add-on, but glad there is a workaround for now.
