Download Completion pop up not coming up

more options

I installed firefox after fresh Windows 10 Installation. In the beginning, I did not realize but after sometime when I tried downloading some big files it was then I found out that the download completion pop up is not coming up. I have tried checking about:config but I cannot find the option of browser.download.manager.showAlertOnComplete. I have attached the screenshot for the ref. Help Please...! :)

Hi Jasdeep0028, I don't think

browser.download.manager.showAlertOnComplete

is a current feature. Maybe from the old, old days before Firefox 29?

Currently, when a download is completed, Firefox may do a tiny bit of animation of the download arrow on the toolbar. You may not notice it, especially if you are using a different app at the time.

There is at least one add-on which can create a desktop notification (rectangle in the lower right corner of the screen) for a completed download, but I haven't tried it myself. For more information, see:

Are you saying that firefox is no longer popping the download complete dialog box?

I don't recall seeing one for a long time. The current approach is to color/animate the arrow button on the toolbar.
