I had some important emails which I moved from a sub folder in my inbox to a local folder in order to save them to USB. In the process of doing this, they have completely disappeared. I have tried to repair the folder but this did not work. I have located my profile and searched the local folder, but the messages there are coded and cant open them to check them.

How many were you trying to transfer ? I've found transferring less than 200 emails at a time on large inboxes fails.

I am sorry to say unless you had another local backup it would involve data recovery at your email provider to get those emails back.

I tried to transfer 600 email from inbox on the IMAP server to a local folder and they completely disappeared. I'm very disappointed. This is a kind of error one can expect on version 0.1, not on 60.9.0!
