500 Error when trying to sync
For the past two months, I've been trying to sync Firefox (114.1.1) on my Samsung Galaxy phone (SM-N950U) with Firefox browser (114.0.1) on my Windows 11 Home laptop. On the phone, it works fine. On the browser, when I go to firefox.com/pair ... I get to the screen with the bar code, when I scan that bar code on my phone, the windows Firefox browser gives me an Error 500 (see attached.) Your help is appreciated!

You can use the alternative way and login using email and password instead of pairing or other ways.

Hi cor-el, I followed this alternative way and synced firefox on my android phone with firefox on my windows laptop. But on my phone, I only see roughly 20 saved logins, versas on my laptop Firefox, I see hundreds of saved logins. How can I force the sync to copy all the saved logins from Firefox on my laptop to my phone? Thanks!!!
Did you previously import the logins on that desktop device as that can be a possible reason for syncing logins to fail ? There is a known issue with syncing imported logins failing that has recently been fixed for Firefox 116 (current Nightly build).

Hi, Thanks for your response. Yes, in the past, I might have exported all logins and re-imported them back into Firefox desktop. Do you know when Firefox 116 will become available? I just re-updated my desktop Firefox and it still shows version 114.0.2 (64 bits). On my Android, it is version 114.1.1 Thanks!
Hi,
I now have Firefox 116 on both my Windows PC and Android phone and I'm still getting the "500 Error". Can you please advise what I should do?
Thanks!
