As an example, the first plugin update is for an outdated Unity Player. When I click on the Update Now, nothing comes up at all. Another one is for a QuickTime Plug-in update for 7.6.6 When I click on the Update Now, it takes me to the Mac QuickTime site offering downloads of the software but, nothing about a plug-in update for 7.6.6 there are others to Update with similar problems.

do the updates from here => Mozilla Plugin Check site.

The "Check for Updates" menu item should work with add-ons such as themes and extensions installed from the Mozilla Add-ons site. I think add-ons installed in other ways (e.g., by download from the publisher's site, or installed with other software) are skipped.

Thanks however, I always select the Updates for my Plug-ins from the Mozilla Plugin Check site! I am still experiencing the exact same problems as originally stated.

Thank you for the info, jscher2000 however, I always find, download & install my Plug-Ins from the Mozilla Plugin Check site, and never any where else! I really cannot understand what is happening this time when I attempt to make Updates? This is the very first time I have experienced this problem.

Thanks Waka_Flocka_Flame however, I always do this. My original request for help states that I am working on the Mozilla Plugin Check site and when I click on the Update now, I either receive nothing or a site that does not offer the update or Plug-in download?

I'm not familiar with the Unity Player.

The QuickTime plugin is part of the larger installation.

In case there is a problem with Firefox using a cached version of some files for the page, you can bypass that using:

Reload the page using Command+Shift+r

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
