Are you crashing on a specific webpage? if yes, which one?

Is it reproducible in safe mode and with a clean profile ?

I have not yet tried it in 'safe mode' but have, from the Mozilla site, just now installed what I thought would be 36 for English British and it installed FF 35.0.1! Amazed by this. Hitting 'about Firefox' did not illicit an update to 36. Ergo, I shall continue with this version and see what, if anything, occurs. Thanks for your reply.

Hi Fred, all done as requested. Rapport safely uninstalled and reinstalled, one of my graphics drivers has been updated, sfc has found two or three files it cannot repair, AMD 64 files, dammit. Firefox has now automatically updated to 36. So far no crashes.

Thank you so much Monty.
