Windows popup sats Mozilla wants to install update but website detects the latest version is already installed.
Starting this morning every time I open Firefox I get the standard Windows pop up saying Mozilla Corp is wanting to make changes to my computer. I have said "no" up to this point. The Firefox website indicates I have the latest version. I run Eset NOD32 virus and security which does not detect any virus/hack/etc. Is there a legitimate update or patch that needs to be run?

hi, there was a critical security update to firefox 39.0.3 deployed in the last few days: https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2015/08/06/firefox-exploit-found-in-the-wild/
you can check your current version number by going to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > about firefox

The Firefox useragent does not show the minor update versions (since Fx 16.0 ?) as 39.0.3 would still look like Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0
