How do I turn off Firefox temporarily to allow Adobe to continue installation?

How do I turn off Firefox temporarily to allow Adobe to continue installation?

Chosen solution

Once you finish downloading the Flash installer, you can exit Firefox using the menu:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

When starting Firefox again, assuming you were not in a private session, you usually can use History > Restore Previous Session to return to the windows and tabs you had open before.
