I used "C-Cleaner" software and it found a ton of temp files in a folder named "Firefox Internet Temp Files" (or something to that effect). I have searched, but cannot find that folder. I learned from other software that programs create temp files but never delete them. I like to check periodically to see if I have old junk still hanging around. IE was bad to create temp files with zero (0) bytes in them, then leave them to accumulate, sometimes hundreds of them. Thanks for your help

Some programs use the computer's own Temp Folder. But bigger programs may have their own Temp's.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on Cache and Form And Search History.
