It's good you recognize that for the phishing attack it is. You can report that site as described here, since they use new sites every day: I found a fake Firefox update.
Most likely an ad on the page is redirecting Firefox to the fake update. It's pretty bad that Yahoo is carrying them on their network, or perhaps its coming from ads embedded in particular messages. You could consider using an ad blocking extensions such as the following:
