I have a POP3 account and defined that no mails will be stored after downloading in Thunderbird. Each time when Thunderbird checks for new mail or after start of Thunderbird I am receiveing the same mail from a particular sender, which I received originally yesterday. All new mails after a certain time yesterday will not be read and downloaded to my PC. When I am using the Webmail facility or when I look in Gmail, where also mail of this particular account is forwarded, I can see that I have received new mails, but they will not be seen/downloaded by Thunderbird (latest version). With other e-mail accounts I do not have this problem in Thunderbird. Please advise me how to fix this problem.

I suggest you go to your email provider's website, log in to your email account there and deal with this nuisance message. Once you have deleted it, Thunderbird will be able to work on the queue of messages waiting behind it.
