Error attempting to compact folders - it tells me that it can't due to another operation that is running.

After deleting an email from a sub-folder, it asked me if I want to compact the folder. When I click on "Yes", it gives me an error to the affect of "it's already doing something". Just started one from the Inbox, and it seems to be running fine.

Thoughts?
