Issue is highly prevalent on Facebook feed and Youtube.. however most pages crash such as game wikis and other. Tried disabling acceleration, updating graphics driver, windows update, clean install of firefox, memtest86, and the "browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false & browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false" fix I found on the forums. I am all out of ideas.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if that works.

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

I have tried that and it did not work. I can reproduce the crashed tabs in moments by scrolling through facebook feeds. Interestingly enough.. I also have the crashes in IE 11 but not in MS Edge.

You can try to set this pref to false on the about:config page.

  • media.windows-media-foundation.allow-d3d11-dxva = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

I have just tried both solutions with no progress. All drivers have been checked, os updates checked, and plug ins are up to date.

I have attempted more solutions such as starting in safe mode with networking and running Tron to no avail either. I really appreciate all the help. I hope I can get it figured out eventually.
