I am a long-time Thunderbird user, would simply like to read my email. Where did it go? Have I been hacked? Why all this documentation and instructions as though I'm a new user? I have also been notified that Mozilla no longer supports Thunderbird. It is confusing.

I must have been hacked. Thunderbird email showed up on another computer, otherwise I would not even have been able to confirm my registration. Thank you. (My Thunderbird asks for donations, no longer paid by Mozilla. Perhaps I should simply download #5.0 and hope I can transfer from the previous.)

Hmm, have you missed that you have a tab open perhaps? Thunderbird has had a tabbed interface for a number of years now.
