I can see mailing lists and their memebers, what I want is the reverse of that i.e. a person's mailing list membership.

The MoreFunctionsForAddressBook add-on is supposed to do this. It adds an "Addressbooks" option along with a "search" button. I've seen it work in the past, but I fear it has been broken for several recent versions.

Yes, I thought I remembered that... in fact have discovered that it does work I just hadn't pressed the search button!
