Basically University is a 5 min walk for me so I usually leave my computer on with the tabs i'm using open, twice this month alone I have come back to find firefox crashed, closed or updated and the tabs are gone and under history the recently closed tabs is empty for some reason, chrome will ask if you want to restore last session if it closes abruptly and the browser opera opens the tabs you had open from when you last closed it, is firefox the only browser that decides to just get rid of all the tabs you have open and delete them from recently browsed? like why even have that? It's such a joke to have to refind all the relevant pages I had open

Hi, sorry have issue with something that works the same as Chrome does when a file is not corrupted.

Please send up to 6 bp- links as per instructions here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-asking-support

I suggest not leaving Firefox open when you have gone out as the possible issue is that Firefox updates the Tabs all the time while you are out. More so with pages that update constantly as per say : cnn or weather.

You will find a setting in this that you can change to your own number to slow down the refresh of tabs : https://www.servethehome.com/firefox-is-eating-your-ssd-here-is-how-to-fix-it/

Unfortunately that still leaves the reloading of tabs once crashed for a unknown reason.

So please send the bp- links and will have a look at your crash reports.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
